The Capitalist Manifesto

Got my copy of Andrew Bernstein's Capitalist Manifesto today & my reaction to what little I've had a chance to read so far is "DAMN! What an adventure story!"

Which is fitting since one of the things Bernstein mentions is the origin of the word entrepreneur, which, when it first appeared, was often translated as "adventurer"! And what an adventure the story of the people who built Western Civilization is!

One thing is clear to me already, however, and that is that the story of Capitalism is the story of the unshackling of Man's mind.

Waiting for Miami Vice

Well, here I am, about a week away from the opening of Miami Vice - Brokeback Mountain and Pirates of the Caribean: Dead Man's Chest have come & gone - & I'm feeling a thrill of anticipation the likes of which I haven't felt about an upcoming movie in a loooooong time!

I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!

I visited the updated site for Miami Vice and I was impressed with the way it managed to immerse me in the film in a way that no movie site has ever done before.
